Wie es funktionieren kann, Lebensmittel in einer großen Gemeinschaft zu teilen, das wird am Beispiel von Andernach gezeigt, der "essbaren Stadt". Außerdem gibt es die wissenschaftliche Erklärung dafür, wann wir überhaupt bereit sind, etwas mit anderen zu teilen.

Abenteuerserie Deutschland (2014). Rumblödeln vor der Kamera wie die YouTuberin Joyce Ilg - das würde die schüchterne Nora auch gern können. Therapeutin Shital hat da eine Idee. Man braucht nur sich selbst, einen Spiegel und lockere Gesichtsmuskeln. Alle anderen Mutcamper umweht heute Stallgeruch. Sie helfen Coach Jonas bei den Pferden. Ausgerechnet Pferdenärrin Annika wird von einem Pferd böse gezwickt. Reiten auf diesen Tieren? Niemals! Lea und Lena steigern sich in ihre Panik richtig hinein.

Abenteuerserie Deutschland (2014). Projekttag im "Mutcamp 2.0"! Die Mädchen sollen in Südafrika nicht nur ihre Ängste kennenlernen, sondern auch Land und Leute; aber nicht wie Touristen vom Bus aus und mit Reiseführer - die Mutcamper sind mittendrin! Annika und Svenja renovieren den Kindergarten eines Townships. Trotz großer Armut treffen sie hier auf glückliche Kids. Anderen zu helfen steigert das eigene Selbstbewusstsein, und mit einem starken Herzen kann man den eigenen Ängsten viel besser begegnen. Schaffen das auch die Mutcamper?

Ein Tapir geht baden, Deutschland (2014). Tierreporterin Anna ist tief im Regenwald von Ecuador unterwegs. In der Wildtierauffangstation AmaZoonico leben die beiden Tapir-Waisen Navi und Carneval. Auf den ersten Blick sehen sie aus wie eine Mischung aus Mini-Nilpferd und Schwein, zumal sie auch noch einen Rüssel tragen! Anna findet heraus, dass die Tapire trotz ihrer praktischen Riechröhre keineswegs mit Elefanten oder Schweinen verwandt sind, sondern mit Nashorn und Pferd. Tapire sind ausgezeichnete Schwimmer und baden für ihr Leben gern. Sie können sogar unter Wasser laufen. Ihren Rüssel benutzen sie dabei zum Atmen, nur Anna braucht dafür einen Schnorchel.

Haflinger, Deutschland (2018). Auf dem Haflingerhof Söllner in der Nähe von Rosenheim trifft Tierreporterin Anna die Geschwister Magdalena (19) und Georg (17). Die beiden sind mit Haflingern aufgewachsen und haben viel Freude beim Reiten, Kutsche Fahren und beim Kuscheln mit den Tieren. Magdalena zeigt Anna nicht nur, wie sie einen Haflinger reitet. Sie darf sich auch in den Sattel schwingen. Danach geht es auf der Kutsche weiter: Mit Georgs Hilfe bewältigt Anna einen rasanten Hindernisparcours. Und sie beobachtet das nur eine Woche alte Haflingerfohlen, wie es ausgelassen mit seiner Mutter über die Koppel galoppiert.

Der Erfinder-Check. Julian testet heute verrückte und wichtige Erfindungen - und wird selbst zum Erfinder. Denn ihn plagt ein Problem: Wenn er Hunger hat, wird er immer müde, und dann muss er sich hinlegen - egal, wo er gerade ist. Aber wie erfindet man eine Art Matratzen-Rucksack? Im Deutschen Museum checkt Julian mit dem Experten Helmuth, welche Erfindungen für die Menschheit besonders wichtig waren. Ganz vorn dabei natürlich: das Rad. Aber wer hat das eigentlich erfunden? Und wann? Grundsätzlich hat jeder Mensch viele tolle Ideen und kann neue lustige, aber auch nützliche Dinge erfinden. Das Alter spielt dabei keine Rolle.

Maries Alleingang, Deutschland (2008). Halloween steht bevor und die Pfefferkörner freuen sich auf eine schaurige Vampir-Party im Hauptquartier. Nur Marie ist stinksauer, weil Laurenz sie nicht dabeihaben möchte. Maries schlechte Laune steigert sich noch, als sie im Schuppen des elterlichen Teekontors einen verletzten alten Mann vorfindet, der urplötzlich wieder verschwunden ist, als sie ihn ihren Eltern zeigen will. Kurz entschlossen geht Marie im Alleingang der Sache nach und gerät in eine abenteuerliche Geschichte hinein, in deren Mittelpunkt ein vor 30 Jahren gesunkenes Schiff im Hafen steht.

Falsche Freunde, Deutschland (2008). Karol ist genervt! Ausgerechnet Anna, seine Erzfeindin aus Kindertagen, taucht wieder auf, weil ihre Mutter in der Kantine von Karols Eltern mitarbeiten soll. Aber irgendetwas stimmt nicht mit Anna. Nicht nur dass Karols Fahrrad angeblich gestohlen wurde, das er Anna geliehen hatte, jetzt fehlen auch noch 1000 Euro in der Kasse seiner Eltern. Aber dann zeigt sich, dass Anna selbst ein Opfer ist und von einer Mädchengang zu den Diebstählen gezwungen wurde. Die Pfefferkörner fühlen sich herausgefordert - und Laurenz hat da eine geniale Idee.

Zarina, Deutschland (2008). Zarina, die 14-jährige Tochter eines pakistanischen Geschäftspartners der Krogmanns, ist kurz vor dem geplanten Urlaub in Pakistan plötzlich verschwunden. Die Pfefferkörner entdecken sie im Hauptquartier, versprechen ihr aber, sie nicht an ihre Eltern zu verraten. Angeblich will Zarina unbedingt in Hamburg bleiben, um ihre Ferien bei einer Freundin zu verbringen. Die Pfefferkörner sind schockiert, als sie den wahren Grund für Zarinas Flucht erfahren: Zarina soll in Pakistan mit ihrem Cousin zwangsverheiratet werden.

Reinemachen in den Zoo-Katakomben. Sauberkeit und Pflege müssen sein im Zoo, das gilt auch für den unterirdischen Teil, den die Besucher so nicht kennen. In riesigen Tanks wird dort das Wasser für die Aquarien des Frankfurter Zoos aufbereitet und bereitgestellt. Alle paar Jahre heißt es deshalb für die Pfleger, ab in die Taucheranzüge und hinunter in die nasse Unterwelt, zum Schrubben. Alpaka Spotty ist eine ganz Süße, findet Pfleger Florian Rimpler. Das kleine Alpaka-Mädchen mit dem weißen Fleck in der Frisur ist erst seit kurzem im Opel-Zoo Kronberg und soll heute zum ersten Mal auf die Wiese.

Truhenaufbereitung. Heute nimmt sich das "Hallo Schatz"-Team des alten Sideboards von Henning Lambertz an. Das hat er schon von seinem Vater geerbt. Doch inzwischen passt es nicht mehr zur Einrichtung. Oli P. ist sicher, da kann Schreinermeister Sven Grünwaldt was tolles Neues draus machen. Außerdem bringt Motorrad-Verkäufer Klaus Fehmer zwei alte Sammler-Puppen aus dem Nachlass seiner Mutter mit auf die Burg. Hier kann nur Puppendoktor Marcel Offermann weiterhelfen. Seit 1910 ist er regelmäßig im Programm der Tour de France und bislang zweimal das Ziel einer Pyrenäen-Etappe. 1974 gewann dort der Franzose Danguillaume und 2010 der Luxemburger Andy Schleck. Der Schlussanstieg ist 19 Kilometer lang. Die Etappe ist - abgesehen von den Zeitfahrten - die kürzeste dieser Tour, dennoch eine enorme Herausforderung für alle, die ein Problem mit der Karenzzeit bekommen könnten.

Die grandiose Bildgestaltung von Oscarpreisträger Vilmos Zsigmond und die exzellente Klangkulisse, für den es 1996 den begehrten Academy-Award gab, zeichnen die amerikanische Kinoproduktion aus.

Spielfilm Deutschland/USA (1998). Dean McConnell und seine Freundin Fiona treffen sich auf einer Besichtigungstour im US-Schatzamt, um ihre Kinder Jeremy und Amy auf ihre geplante Heirat einzustimmen. Im Tresorraum stößt Dean auf seinen Ex-Kollegen Quentin Darby, dessen Bande gerade dabei ist, Druckplatten im Wert von 100 Millionen Dollar zu entwenden. Dean versucht, den Raub zu verhindern, doch dabei kommt es zur Katastrophe.
